Allianz Insurance

Allianz AG is a company which provides insurance and financial services.

Allianz was founded in Berlin in 1890. In 1949, the company shifted its headquarters to Munich, where it is at the present time located. In the 1970s, the company established the business in Great Britain, the Netherlands, Spain, Brazil and the United States. In 1986, Allianz acquired Cornhill Insurance PLC, London, In 1990, Allianz started an expansion into eight Eastern European countries. In the same decade, Allianz also acquired Fireman’s Fund, an insurer in the United States. Around this time Allianz expanded its asset management business in the USA by purchasing asset management companies in California.

According to real estate theories, investment is referred to money utilized for buying property for the purpose of ownership or leasing. In this case also, the factor of capital risk is present.
